There is a county park located on this road where the speed trap enforcers like to lurk in wait. The park entrance just happens to be at the same location where the speed limit decreases from 45 mph to 35 mph. Be sure to have your seat belt on as they like to double ding you. Don’t forget to have your proof of insurance with you or they can triple ding you. (Ding as in cash register ding.)

Watch the hill right there (they repaired this hill in the road – there’s a tar patch now) – there’s a cop that usually sits right there on 16th and Airport, or a few roads down (if you’re going west bound) Cops love to sit there and catch speeders. WATCH THE SPEED LIMIT!!! A FEW BLOCKS BEFORE 16TH STREET ON AIRPORT, THE SPEED LIMIT GOES FROM 40 TO 25. IT’S POSTED, BUT WATCH IT!! Alot of people forget to watch for the signs and they cruise the area at 40. DO NOT CRUISE THAT 25 MPH ZONE AT 40!!! Cops love to bust you RIGHT THERE.
