Laramie, Wyoming Speed Traps

East Grand Ave., South side of the street. On Grand Ave., Between 26th St. and 30th St. are two small businesses: a flower shop and a dentist’s office where local officers back their patrol cars into a parking lot and use radar. Best time to get a speeding ticket: early morning, before 7 am, and after 5 pm.

Less than a mile stretch just before exit 313, toward the end of a mountain downgrade, goes from 75 to 65 (for less than a mile), then back to 75.

On N 15th street going from Harney to Reynolds, as you go up a small hill, the speed limit changes from 30 to 25 and there will often be a car at the top of the hill waiting for speeders. Being that there is a school on this hill, the officers are not very lenient.

Cop sitting on street, Speed limit 30. It is a straight road except for two curves, non-residential zone, SL sohuld be 45 mph. Very easy to speed in between Snowy Range and the beginning of the residential zone if you don’t pay attention to speedometer. WyoTech students constantly busted, but my mom also got a ticket.
