Comanche Road, south of CA-58   Lamont, California

CHP unit in area equipped with "moving radar" that will get you while you are traveling in the opposite direction. Cop was a ticket-writing robot - no warning, no lecture, just a "license and registration please" and return with a ticket. Probably makes his quota regularly out here as the road is straight and uncluttered, making it very easy to exceed the posted 55 limit. Small-town court, probably hard to fight ticket, will look for a ticket lawyer and a good radar detector for future protection.
