Latrobe Road near Wetsel-Oviatt Road   Latrobe, California

As you drive down Latrobe Road, towards highway 50, you go down a semi-twisty section of road and make a slight right around a partially blind corner. As you get to the corner there is a logging truck road to your left called Wetsel-Oviatt and to your right is a small cutout from the road where a police cruiser will sit parallel to the road just waiting for a car to speed by since they are not visible to passing motorists going towards the freeway.
The posted speed limit is 35 coming out of the twisty road but the sign is not always noticable and it comes from a 55 zone so most drivers are stil driving 55 or faster as they pass that spot.
They aren't too concerned about the 35 speed limit, what they are waiting for are the drivers going over 55 around the bend. Neither are they there at certain times or days, just every once in a while you will see one sitting there waiting.
