State Highway 83 near City Limit   Winters, Texas

The speed limit drops dramatically as soon as you enter the city limits. The local police hide in trees off of the road north of town in a cemetary. When you would assume you are well out of the city limits. Don't speed thru the town and don't run their really long wait red light.

US Highway 83 near State Highway 153   Winters, Texas

70 mph speed is reduced to 55 with little or no warning. You must see the 55 mph sign far in the distance and be prepared to slow quickly so as to be at 55 or below when you pass the sign.
