Allouez, Wisconsin Speed Traps

There is a police cruiser sitting there at least 2/3 times per wk. Usually in the am when people are commuting to work. He sits in the parking lot off Derby Lane, shooting radar. Although I have went by him doing over the speed limit, he must of been waiting for someone driving faster. But just his presence, will get me to SLOW down and do the speed limit, which is 25! Maybe that’s what it’s all about, just getting drivers to see them and maybe, just maybe, we’ll start observing the speed limits.

Brown Cty squad, usually unmarked, sits on the Webster Ave ramp at overpass in grass overlooking hywy 172 west, cannot be seen from 172, can and does shoot radar east or west from this location as he is above the highway, sometimes has a chase car sitting on eastbound Webster Ave ramp to 172 also.

Unmarked car sits at corner of VandeHei and Webster Ave. This is 1/3 mile south of 3 way stop at Hoffman Rd. Speed limit is 30 but usually don’t pull over unless nearing 40mph.

This area is a 25 mph speed limit and almost every time I travel this road, there is either a cop running radar/laser or a cop has someone pulled over. I only travel this road about twice a week and usually early afternoon.
