Canonsburg, PennsylvaniaFeb 09, 20110 Comments

Canonsburg Police sit on a sharp inclined street (Marple St.) half way up South Central Avenue. Painted lines (VASCAR) are used to measure speed. Are able to check traffic ascending and decending South Central Ave. Speed limit is 25 MPH. for the entire length of the road. North Strabane Police take over enforcement at the top of the hill. Their car sits on Vance Drive hidden behind a hill. Expect enforcement to agressively resume when the weather allows for the repainting of VASCAR lines.

southpointe blvd right off of Morganza rd

There is a speed trap on the right hand side of the road as you turn off of Morganza onto Southpointe BLVD. It is a few hundred yards from the light . Police are often sitting there hidden by a stone sign and the speed limit is only 25 (which feels unnatural on that road) so they catch lots of speeders
