County Trunk 448 near State Route 19   Lake, Florida

howey in the hills uses local police to check speeds going east and west on county road 448. going east speed drops from 55 to 40 very quick. going west on cr 448, coming off state road 19 with posted limit 55, new speed limit 40. police wait on side and catch out of area drivers.

US Highway 27 near Florida Turnpike   Lake, Florida

There's a State Trooper and two DOT officer in the center median. Speed limit is 55 MPH. They stop vehicles, tractor trailer anything that moves!
