South Beach, Florida Speed Traps

When traveling to Miami Beach from Miami late at night, a police officer sometimes is parked on the road to the ferry, and drivers on 395 aren’t able to see them. As you approach the road leading to the ferry, the speed limit drops from 50 to 40. There are many distractions, and if you aren’t careful, you’ll miss the signs.

There are nearly always 2 or 3 motorcycle cops just north of the MB golf club entrance. They give no warnings and know that Everyone goes over the posted 30 MPH.
