CS Floyd Road 3-way stop   Loganville, Georgia

This is a brazen revenue grab which bears no relation to public safety . The cops sit behind the bushes and even if you hit the brakes and barely roll through the stop as I did, they come out with floored accelerator, lights, and siren, endangering the pedestrians at the nearby bakery and dance studio much more surely than the motorists they catch. The cop was very proud that "we take payments online now". If you pay in person as I did, take cash. These thieves have an ATM located next to their pay window but it only dispenses $20 at the time and charges you $3.25 per transaction! Since my stop I have heard of numerous other people who have been stopped here. Like me, they now choose to avoid Loganville if possible and shop instead in Snellville and Monroe.

C S Floyd Rd. & Logan Dr.   Loganville, Georgia

Loganville PD sit in wait at parking area next to cemetery on C S Floyd Rd. and clock drivers headed east on Logan Dr. usually 7:00 a.m. thru 9:00 a.m.; 11:00 a.m. thru 1:00 p.m. and again 4:00 p.m. thru 7:00 p.m. Sometimes there are multiple units running the trap. I estimate 10-20 tickets written daily when this area is being monitored!

Lee Byrd Rd. between U.S. Hwy. 78 and Hwy. 81   Loganville, Georgia

City cops sit in drive on same side of road as exit drive from school with radar. No flashing school zone signs on Lee Byrd Rd. - traffic heavy. They are just waiting for you. Got ya!!!! All speed signs few and far apart.

Tommy Lee Fuller Rd. (Near Playground)   Loganville, Georgia

The speed limit changes to 25mph. It is on a pretty steep incline so you can't see the police when coming from Hwy. 20 and you have to ride your brakes because of the slope of the incline. Radar guns in use at all times.

Lee Byrd Road near Walton Elementary   Loganville, Georgia

Loganville is a speed trap all around but especially this road in the mornings near the Elementary School. School zone is 25mph. Cops sit in apartment parking lot about .2 miles from school zone and shoot cars as they are leaving the zone and likely to have started speeding up. They are there almost every day.
