8th St. SW between 17th from the church west
They sit in the partking lot of the church with their lights out and run radar. They check both directions, usually worse in the evenings, and at the end of the month.
I- 80 & NE 72nd St
Highway Patrol to sit on both sides of overpass,speed limit goes from 70 down to 65 as you go west
S.E. 14th Avenue near 8th Street
14th Ave. S.E. has had the speed limit lowered to 35 from 55. With the new housing going in people are not adhering to the new limit. So when radar is run it is non stop ticket writing, usually for 20 over plus!

Adventureland Drive near 17th Avenue
Police sit north of the T-intersection in a fairly stealthy position where they are able to radar in three different directions. Adventureland Drive in general, is often patrolled particularly on the eastern end. The eastern edge is patrolled more at night. The intersection listed above can be any time of day.

NE 56th Street near SW 8th Street
Sits behind the Target in Altoona, usually more then one car. Was going 41 mph in 35 and got a ticket, no warning.
