Centerville, Massachusetts Speed Traps

Occasionally, there is a police car sitting in the church parking lot. The church is on the corner of Old Stage Road and Oak Street. I haven’t actually seen anyone get pulled over there, but it’s worth mentioning.

Sometimes there is a police car sitting in a narrow path next to the water tower in Centerville (right before the gas station and TD Banknorth). It stays hidden pretty well until you are driving past it.

On Race Lance there are two main traps. Heading towards Marstons Mills, just past the Ranch, they park on the left at the small church. Also, if you are heading towards Hyannis, they park about a half mile after the ranch in the parkng lot of the Interfaith Church on the left hand side.

The speed trap is at the bottom of a hill if a driver is approaching from Route 132. He uses a fence as cover.

Well, Old Stage is the type of road to race down. So Cops like to stay on a side road off of it to watch.
