Burnett Road near exit 6, or end of 291 Turnpike Chicopee, Massachusetts

Police cruisers sit at many different locations along Burnett Rd. IE: Dr. Deegans, Chic State Park Entrance, Williams Distribiting, BFI, any one of the side streets, and expecially the entrance to the Golf Course right before the Ludlow Line.

Chicopee Street near State Route 116 Chicopee, Massachusetts

Chicopee St. (route 116) from the I-391 exit 3 to the Willimansett Bridge into Holyoke. Speed limit is 35 on this long stretch of road with very few lights. Major bus route for both schools and PVTA. Look for traps at Sherman Park, Gratten St. and just before and after the Willimansett bridge.

Interstate 391 near Exit Number 4 Chicopee, Massachusetts

The state police hide behind a guardrail and their is one car doing radar with other police cars waiting to chase you down. Usually in the AM and PM rush hours and the beginning and end of the month.

Interstate Highway 391 Chicopee, Massachusetts

Interstate Highway 391 starts near Chicopee center and goes into Holyoke. It has two lanes on both sides and is a typical interstate highway, but the speed limit posted is 55, not 65. The normal speed trap occurs on the south bound side after a bend in the road about 1 mile from the entrance in Holyoke. The road is patroled by state curisers. The crusier(s) normally park in the dirt area just after a guard rail so it is hard to spot them until it is too late. The curisers sometimes park on the north bound side near the same area. A slight bend in the road and a slight up hill grade hide the cruisers until it is too late.
