Severn, Maryland Speed Traps

The county police often sit at the entrance to Severn-Danza Park to pick off traffic going in both directions (easy & west) on MD rt 174 (Donaldson Rd). It is hard to see the trap from either direction, but particularly when you’re headed west.

There have been a few cops that sit by (on the side of) this small store on Burns Crossing, at the bottom of a dip/hill. Another one is also on Burns Crossing at the Annopolis Area Christian School. They are county cops.

The state police are posted on BWI parkway North and south. They have at least 4 troopers with RADAR/LIDAR before RTE 100 going north and after RTE 100 going south
