Cottonwood Lane between Henness and Trekkell

Casa Grande, ArizonaFeb 03, 20130 Comments

This area is marked 35 mph, down from 45 a few years back. Usually two police watch this area about once a month. They work in unison and stop anyone going over 35. They wait a month or so until the speed go up to a reasonable 40 then pounce again. This area should be posted as a 45 zone. It is obviously a speed trap. Be careful on this street.

Florence Blvd/Hacienda Road

Casa Grande, ArizonaFeb 19, 20111 Comments

Florence Blvd is part of an Arizona State Highway, not a municipal street. Several DPS officers reside in Mission Royale, the subdivision at that intersection. The area also is known for the Casa Grande Promenade Mall. DPS officers will sit on Florence Blvd in the area of Hacidena Road and Mission Parkway. They will pull you over for a minimal amount over the speed limit. 1+ over.

East / West off of Exit 185 on 1-10 – Once the road becomes two lanes – local police like to hide out in the middle of the two lanes and target oncoming cars on either side of the road
