Bald Eagle Rd & Bald Eagle Rd N   Allamuchy, New Jersey

For those of you visiting Panther Valley, Bald Eagle Road represents a longstanding trap on several levels. First just beyond the gate house the speed limit goes from 40 to 35 to 30 in less than a mile. State Police, who are the only law enforcement allowed to monitor here, will be lying in wait along this corridor. Second, State police have recently started monitoring seat belt usage by hiding their cruiser behind the gatehouse and standing in front of the exit as drivers leave the Valley. Because of a recent addition of planters that block one of the two lanes at the exit, drivers will naturally slow down as they leave giving the Trooper adequate time to view that you and or you passengers weren't wearing you seatbelts. Remember when the law was first introduced and they swore they would never use the seatbelt law as a method to pull over pedestrians?
