CHP will park on the left shoulder, just south of the I-5 crossover at the top of the grade going down to Castaic. They run rear RADAR and have your speed locked in before you even see them.

A CHP officer will sit in the onramp. Impossible to see until too late due to a rise in the ramp.

North on Commerce Ctr Dr from Hwy 126   Castaic, California

Motorcycle w/radar gun sits in driveway of 1st building on right hidden by tall weeds, grade and curve in road. Open road, traffic easily flows 10-20 miles over 45 mile speed limit.

coming out of the canyon between Sloan Cyn and Via Verde Dr, CHP with 2 way Radar parked on the south side of Hasley also CHP at the last Light on the sw corner of Hasley and Commerce way

I-5 South at Parker Rd. on-ramp and/or right shoulder   Castaic, California

CHP will sit on the Fwy on-ramp at Parker Rd. when heading south after the long downhill trek for Ft. Tejon pass...also on the right shoulder...usually they have radar set up. This is the leveling off area after coming down the grade, and they cannot be seen until it's too late.
