I live near here, and avoid attica all together, and I don't speed either, if your caught making the slightest twitch behind the wheel, you will be taking a sobriety test, this is Boss Hog Country and Roscoe is writting the tickets, this is one town you might want to drive a little slower than the posted sign.

State Route 4 near State Highway 224   Attica, Ohio

As this is a main road for a lot of people going to Lake Erie, officers sit in the parking lot of the Fire Dept. hidden behind the sign if you are heading north. The trap is just inside the city limits when the speed limit changes.

US Highway 224   Attica, Ohio

Speed limit quickly goes from 55MPH to 35 MPH to 25 MPH for a one-block area in middle of the village. Improperly labled a business district to support the lower speed limit. Village police rove back and forth along this short stretch.
