Carroll, Ohio Speed Traps

After raising the speed limits on many Ohio Highways and state routes, the OSHP have taken to county roads to produce revenue and meet their quotas. Pleasantville road Co Rd 17) East of Rt 33 is patrolled heavily now especially after 4 pm as people are making their way home from work. State troopers park off the side of the road with radar etc. approx 1 mile off 33 near Carnes Rd.

This speed trap has been in place for years! I’m talking about the section of 33 towards Lancaster from Columbus, between Pickerington Rd. and the Speedway/McDonalds in Carroll. Always heavily patrolled. I’ve never received a ticket in this area, but then again, I’m always driving slower because I’m paranoid!
