State Highway 243 near State Highway 243   Coal Grove, Ohio

The village has 2 newer officers that set in their cruisers on Marion Pike at night without Any lights on and target all drivers going over the 35 mph speed limit. They also target the road that runs in front of the police station into Ironton. The limit there is 25 mph and it is often difficult to not be hit in the rear end going that slow. They also target improper stops at stop signs, so to be safe, count to three after you have completely stopped at a stop sign in Coal Grove. For the most part, the officers are fair, but these two young officers seem to enjoy seeing how many tickets they can hand out each shiFort
