South Main Street at the bridge before Danos   Coventry, Ohio

The bridge before danos is 35mph and on either side of the bridge it's 40mph. The cops normally sit at the boat dock just on the other side of the bridge and they tell you it's for the safety of the fisherman on the bridge that the speed limit is 35mph.

Portage Lakes Drive near S. Turkeyfoot Road   Coventry, Ohio

Portage Lakes Road goes from 35 to 25 for roughly 1/4 mile near the Clock Tower at the intersection of Portage Lakes Dr. and S. Turkeyfoot Rd. Six years ago, township trustees lobbied to lower the speed limit for "safety concerns" (Translation: They wanted to turn Coventry Twp. into more of a village). What they created was a speed trap. The cops will hide in the parking lot of the former FirstMerit Bank in Portage Lakes Plaza(Bialy's in is this plaza). They'll also hide behind the brushes in the driveway to the AT&T parking lot. This is one of the dumber speed traps in Summit County.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
