OH 13 near Thunderbird Golf Course
As you are about to enter Huron the speed drops from 50 to 35. Police park on right side almost hidden by a bridge abutement just 50 ft from the limits. They catch mostly coasters due to the slight downhill.
Con-Agra entrance – New State Boat Ramp
This is on the east side of the Huron River. Huron police use this area often. Usually checking west bound traffic.
State Route 2 near Rye Beach Road
Entering the city limits of Huron from the East on State Route 2, just after the St. Rt 13 exit, there are routinely State Troopers running radar/laser as you pass under the Rt 13 over pass. This is a blind curve and you will not be able to see them until you pass under the bridge.
Once past this trap, you are not out of the clear. Aproximatly 500 yards after the first speed trap you will asscend an over pass and enter the city limits. There are routinly city police waiting on the other side of the over pass.
It is not uncommon to run into a State Trooper, and a Huron Police officer at the same time.
