Ohio State Rt. 60 north of normal corporation limit sign   Loudonville, Ohio

On Ohio State Rt 60 in the northbound lane from Saint Peter Cemetery is a 45 MPH zone for 4/10th of a mile in the northbound lane, the same 4/10th of a mile on the southbound lane is a 55MPH speed limit, this is very confusing. It is not marked very well and it is definitely abused by the LPD to generate revenue. Technically State Route 60 North of the Saint Peter Cemetery at the Corporation sign, Rt 60 is not within the Corporation boundary's, but due to some screwed up State Ordinances made up by the states ODOT, there are two different speed limits on the same 4/10th mile road based on the direction of travel north 45 and south 55. Even the Ohio State patrol trooper was totally blown away, as he didn't realize this existed. He totally agreed that it is illogical/ and very confusing to the public, and needs to be repaired. OSHP is now working with ODOT to rectify this discrepancy.

800 Block of SR60 North   Loudonville, Ohio

The 800 block going north out of town is 45mph with a corporation limit 300 yards further out than south bound on same road. South bound on same stretch of road is 55mph. Police sit in a church parking lot and hit you coming out of town. I have lived in this town for 35 years and never noticed that there are two limits on the same stretch of road.
