RoboAcutrack is used in this five by six block borough set amid several others just like it in Southeast Delaware County Pennsylvania, bordering the city of Philadelphia. The trap is en route from several western suburbs to the airport and two interstates, 95 and 76. Main Street Darby is a long stretch of street with no traffic entering on left and minimal on right. There are no stop signs or speed bumps for several blocks. There is only one speed limit sign posted at 25 mph. Moderate to heavy traffic moves at 25 to 40 in the afternoon. Police hide at last street before the major intersection at McDade Blvd. and then arbitrarily wave any number of cars onto a side street if they can make room for them. After they are ticketed, they leave making room for more cars to be ticketed. Selection of cars, all traveling at the same speed, nearly bumper to bumper, is arbitrary since all cars are moving at the same speed. It is a question of room to ticket them without giving away the side street enterprise. Police do not ask for insurance and registration information, or run a vehicle check, all of which is standard in most other places, but here might be time consuming. They run a fast ticket-and-go money grubbing enterprise. They would do as well to have a cash register at the corner. Ka-ching!
