Speed limit is 20MPH on Laramie. Cops sit in the old Del Rock’s parking lot or in the Pancake House parking lot. They usually get you heading south on Laramie, so don’t speed up to make the light!
Forestview Drive near Pine Drive
Several motorists travel down the main drag of Forestview Dr & pine Dr where they intersect with one another & has a 3-way stop. Cars can be seen going in the directions of east and west down forestview through the stop sign over 40mph down a 20 mph neighborhood street and is right near homes with kids and a downsyndrome child.
Central Avenue near 167th Street
Sherrif’s police sit in the forest perserve and golf course entrances for about an hour everyday during rush hour
167th Street near Lockwood Street
Cook County Sheriff Department patrol cars sit on Lockwood, south side, or in the hot-dog parking lot, also south side of 167th street (the Oak Forest patrol car that you have seen sitting east bound on 167th St.near Cicero Ave. is not occupied).
Central Avenue near 159th Street
Central south of 159th is a hotbed for the radar gun. Squad sits on side streets south of Central waiting to nab anyone going even a little over 25 MPH. County also patrols that area and they have moving and instant on radar, and can get you coming or going.
