Delano, Minnesota Speed Traps

As you exit Delano heading East bound on Highway 12, you are also entering Hennipen County. The next 4-5 miles are a series of extremely short passing lanes on two lane blacktop. West Hennipen Public Safety officers sit on the shoulders and ditches of the East and West bound lanes. Sometimes you can find as many as 5 cars, sometimes you will see a guy sitting in a lawn chair with a radar gun in the back of an S-10 pickup in the ditch of the oncoming lane. The guy in the chair shoots and radios to cars over the next hill.
