Maybrook, New York Speed Traps

Especially at night heading North on 208 they back in off the side of the road (on the Yellow Freight side) just past the Railroad caboose. I’m not sure if they are checking both ways, but they can definitely get you if you are going North. Not as much on nights when the moon is bright as it is easier to see their front windshield in the moonlight.

208 south of 84 through town. starts at 45 then drops to 30. Heavy enforcement. Frankly, it should judt be 30 the whole way. The speed trap part is the 45 to 30 drop.

Cops patrol this road morning/noon/night. They like to lurch in the Stewart’s gas station parking lot as well as the car wash next door.
