On Newark Rd.
Newark Road from Fought’s store til Crossroads at Route 47. There is always a state trooper sitting alongside the road near the old grade school. Speed limit is 35, but since its a straight stretch of road, if you don’t set your cruise, you’re likely to speed. He WILL pull you over if you’re going 36 even.

West Virginia 14 entering town from west (Parkersburg)
The basic problem is that the speed limit sign coming into town is 35 mph and it overlaps the 25 mph speed limit sign leaving town. This overlapping causes people driving legally in one direction to be caught for speeding according to the signs heading in the other direction.
