Interstate 35 Northbound near Exit Number 40th Ave West
MN State Patrol sits under the overpass up on a hill usually behind a bridge support for the Richard Bong bridge to Superior, WI. You can’t see them there until it’s too late. They also like to sit about 1/2 mile north of here near the RR overpass between 40th Ave W. and 21st ave W exits on the blind corner.

The speed limit on I-35 northbound drops from 70 mph to 55 mph at Boundary Avenue, followed by a long downhill. Drivers may slow a little on the downhill section, but the State Patrol likes to hunt at the bottom of the hill near the 40th Ave West exit.
