Just about all of Ball is a speed trap and has been for over 40 years. That is how they make most of thier money. My advice to anyone trvaling thru Ball is do atleast 5 MPH below posted speed limits. If speed limit is posted 45 and your doing 45 thier will say you was doing 48mph so give yourself a 5mph gap.

Since all of the 4 laning is now complete, the speed limit Southbound in Ball goes from 65 to 55 then 45 with plenty of notice. There is a school zone on the south end of town which is 35 morning and afternoon during school traffic. Northbound on 165 the speed limit goes from 55 to 45 with adequate signage. I don't think this constitutes a speed trap.
