State Highway 72 near Old Hickory House Building
Constant sight of road blocks/patroled by city, county and state/All 3 branches of law enforcement will tag team this area/road blocks can be anytime but almost always on Friday or Saturday nights. I saw all 3 loading up cars last Saturday night. (Hwy 72 E of Athens)
Mooresville/Nick Davis Crossing
State Troopers sit at the Intersection of Mooresville Road and Nick Davis Road frequently in the PM Rush Hour traffic. I have not seen anyone pulled over in my daily route but see the troopers there at least 3-4 times a week an also sitting at the H&H BBQ Rest. right before the intersection. There is a hill before the Rest. and the road is hidden at the crossing there. People usually speed through there and they sit there to slow down the speeders.

I see planes flying by all day long & the troopers use airplanes to stop folks. I just didn’t know they had so many planes. I guess that’s why they give out so many tickets. To pay for the planes.
