Florence, Alabama Speed Traps

First 15 miles of Gunwaleford Road (Co Rd 2) west from Highway 20 to Sunset Beach. State Troopers target Mississippi and Tennessee drivers trying to get to and from work in Florence. Speed limit is 45 mph on very staight road with no businesses and limited drive way connections.

Particularly during nice weather, police sit right at Dale’s Restaurant, on right side, checking cars as they come off the bridge heading into Florence.
