East end of Dolly Ridge Road as soon as you turn up road off Hwy 280 ! He is on a motorcycle and hides in the Bushes on the right side of the road , about the 2nd or 3rd house going up hill on the right. It’s a 25 mile per hour speed limit. He go me for 40.
State Highway 31 near Merryvale Road
Officer sits in the median in a full dark car anywhere from the "Sol Azteca" Mexican restaurant near the Wal-Mart up to the CVS Pharmacy. Speed limit is 40MPH. MPH allowance is 10. i.e. over 50 you’re gonna get stopped, 45 you’re probably ok.

State Highway 31 near All through Vestavia’s shopping areas the Rave, through the interchange for 65/459, police patrol.
The police not on patrol but "lie in wait" along highway 31 particularly in the Vestavia shopping district. It’s worse during school opening, but they are consistent, frequent and many. You don’t want to speed at all from Patton Chapel through the 459/65 overpass or they’ll nail you.
Morgan Drive near Rocky Ridge Road
Police sit in Office Park area on Morgan Road between Rocky Ridge and the High School. Often motorcycle cop.
Acton Road near Interstate 459
Cop sits on shoulder of Rd in curve where 4 Ln rd drops into 2 Lns,states residents have complained about speeders, but area cop sits is a office park entrance,& is right on city limits of 3 different cities. 35 mile limit,& no one drives that slow, you`ll be tailgated, if you do..
