Gilbert, Arizona Speed Traps

Speed limit changes from 45 to 40. Cop was sitting in the center turn lane pointed south, I was driving north. There are 3 lanes in each direction plus the turning lane. My Gilbert Town council deferred to Mesa on why the speed it set so low there. They said Mesa sets the speed limit there and Gilbert is allowed to enforce???

Cops on bikes sitting there catching you coming around the corner heading east.
They must have a competition going because there is 3 or 4 of them there.

There are two motorcycle cops parked in the morning on the West side of Val Vista ticketing drivers going over 50 MPH on this 45 MPH posted 6 lane road. There is also an unmarked white police car ticketing in the afternoon. They say that they are using Lidar but are really targeting the car that is going the fastest. Speed that they report exceed actual speed by 3-5 MPH.

Construction zone 25 mph speed trap on Williams Field Road West of Higley to the Walmart. Permanent construction sites seem to have popped up in Gilbert and everyone of them is 25 mph which will lead to a 20+ mph criminal speeding charge (threatened arrest and tow of vehicle) for merely going to routine 45 mpg through them even at night when the construction workers have long since left for the day!!!!

They set up speed traps on Gilbert Road from Ray Road all the way up to Baseline RD also by shopping area side streets off of Gilbert Road so Boycott shopping anywhere on Gilbert Road in Gilbert Arizona. I personally boycott shopping in the city of Gilbert for anything. I don’t even drive down Gilbert Road.
