Gilbert, Arizona Speed Traps
Pecos Road near San Tan Parkway
While going to work in the early morning (3:30-4:30) there has been a cop car parked in the service drive way for the water dept. At least 1 day out of 10.

Val Vista Drive near US Highway 60
Motorcycle Cop, catching speeders over the overpass going south on Val Vista. Sits in exit of Baker Brothers, is there every morning. Also gets people that turn right on the red light from the freeway.

Cooper Road near Elliot Road
Gilbert police use a light bucket and line the motorcycle cops up behind the bucket. The light bucket is not anywhere near a street light but the officer in the bucket has communication with the officer. Have only experienced it on Cooper Rd., but sure it is done elsewhere.
Germann Road near McQueen Road
Germann is currently under construction in this area. A motorcycle officer likes to sit just west of McQueen in the storage place’s parking lot where he’s covered by the trees and nab people speeding through the construction zone. I’ve seen him pull over up to 3 cars at a time in that location, especially the people that try to race across the intersection and merge into the single lane ahead of the people already in the through lane.
Higley Road near Elliot Road
A motorcycle officer sits on the side streets north of the Horse Trail with the recently installed traffic signal. When heading north on the three lanes of Higley Road the speed limit is 45 mph. The police officer usually sits back a few feet and is hidden fairly well by fences.
