Cactus, between Scottsdale Rd and Frank Lloyd Wright

Scottsdale, ArizonaNov 05, 20030 Comments

White van on the north side of the road – positioned exactly after the road goes from 4 to 2 lanes. Would be safer and less startling to put a "slow/now" flashing light to remind drivers that Cactus, a normally 45 area is now 30!

At that corner, when you are turning right on to hayden from indian bend E. there are "3" signs that say "NO TURN ON RED" they are hard to see in the dark. i got ticketted, was not speeding, and was no harm to any one around me AT ALL. those scottsdale police are out of control they now have a black dodge stratus cop car, but it is very nice looking. 20" rims, very dark tint, waxed, and under the controll of the ticket happy scottsdale police.

Shea Blvd – between 130th St and Hwy 87

Scottsdale, ArizonaSep 09, 20030 Comments

Photo radar traps in the Scottsdale section, along with some DPS in umarked Crown Vics, Tahoes, Impalas and Dodge Status’. They wait on the side streets on the south side and occasionally in the bus turn-outs.

Fountain Hills sheriffs east of 136th will set up in various spots on Shea, although they are almost always parked on the south side just before the Target center where the limit drops from 50 to 45 on a downhill section. Sneaky.

Man this trap is easily noticable, I mean unless your talking on the phone and not looking you will miss this thing, but if ur smart you’ll see the photo radar truck sitting in it’s little spot. I’ve seen this van in the same spot so many times I have dreams about it.
