Conway, Arkansas Speed Traps

Radar cop sitting off road hidden by bushes and fence. The dance ranch parking lot. From one direction you can see them if you are alert. There are 35 mile per hour signs but going north there a big hill to keep within speed limit you have to ride your brakes all the way down hill. They don’t give warning tickets in Conway. Beware!

There is no speed zone warning coming into town. Drops to 45 then 35 Ticketed for $75.00 add on to ticket for court costs even though no court appearance.

Motorcycle cops sit under trees across from the Links Apartments. A car also sits by the entrance to the Links late at night. 30 through here is reasonable but it’s very easy to do 40-45.

A motorcycle cop sits back off of Harkrider (just north of Siebenmorgen) on the Hendrix College side totally out of sight, and back under the trees.

The officer parks on a side street off of Irby next to a house and you cannot see him at all. Also, if you are coming from the West, there isn’t a speed limit sign very close to the speed trap so you may not know the speed limit. The actual limit here is 30 MPH.
