Coming off of US 62 speed limit is 35 mph onto Sugar Hill rd. speed limit drops to 25 mph where it is not marked very well. Local police were on Stapleton Pl. shooting radar as I past just as speed limit changed to 35 mph. I was running radar detector which indicated I was doing 38 mph. Received inattentive driving ticket for doing 40 mph in 25 mph, amount of ticket is $180. Several people from Oklahoma have been stopped received this same ticket. Avoid this town if you are from Oklahoma.

Police like to sit at the top of the hill catching people cresting the hill over 55mph. Usually at night towards the back of a parking lot of a septic tank company. (Usually sits behind one of the tanks if possible.)

As someone said the police sits there and waits on people. Act like they do you a favor by giving you a ticket that won’t go on record.

Will lie in wait anywhere…behind round hay bales! The M.O. is to give you a ticket for inattentive driving "so it won’t show up on your record" and perhaps you’ll just forfiet and let them get their $….very small town!

Sugar Hill Road near State Highway 62

When turning off Hwy 62 to get onto Sugar Hill Rd the speed limit is 25mph! Be careful b/c a few houses down on the left is an abandoned house that they sit and watch. They mainly catch the people coming from the other direction! I know from experience! The speed changes so quickly from 50 to 40 to 35 and then 25. The bad thing is, you’re going fast and then you come up to that last corner where it turns to 35 and if you’re not careful, they’ll get’cha good!
