Calabasas, California Speed Traps
Las Virgenes Road overpass to the 101 SB
You take the off-ramp to Las Virgenes road/Malibu Canyon, go over the freeway and down the other side Southbound and the cops are hiding in the shell station behind the sign. The 35mph sign is on the opposite side of the off-ramp and the off-ramp is a double lane, so if you are along side a truck in a small car you will never see it. I was caught there and won the case. Check the speed survey.
At the corner of Park Sorrento and Park Ora.
Police cars like to sit on Park Sorrento, facing Park Ora to watch for people who speed down Park Sorrento AND for people who do not come to a full stop at Park Sorrento and Park Ora. It’s a four way stop sign intersection.
Park Serenanto and Park Ora
3 way stop sign and the cop is there 3 to 4 times a week waiting for someone to do a california roll or a drive through the the sgin.
