Culver City, California Speed Traps
Sepulveda Boulevard near Culver Boulevard
There is always a Culver City PD motorcycle sitting in the parking lot of Reprographic print shop in the morning. Pretty much the entire stretch of Sepulveda between Jefferson and Washington is patroled.
Robertson Boulevard near Washington Boulevard
Not a speed trap, but a no right turn on red trap. CCPD sits in Miller Honda dealership waiting for motorists to make that right turn from Robertson onto Washington. The signals are not demand-activated and motorists can be waiting for a few minutes, even with no cross-traffic.
Slauson Avenue near State Highway Marina Freeway
Police cars and motorcycles hide behind obstructions making them invisible to westbound traffic on Slauson coming down hill into intersection. They apparently ticket drivers who are over the speed limit or who run red lights.
In general Culver City has extremely heavy enforcement with more traffic cameras and traffic police per square mile than anywhere else in Southern California. Avoid driving there if you possibly can.
State Highway 405 southbound
CHP parked behind bush at the on ramp/offramp just between the two ramps and gets you heading south at the Venice Blvd.
