Hacienda Heights, California Speed Traps

Around 10pm to as late as 2am, a unit patrols this region for speeders going down the hill, illegal parking at the top of the end (end of Punta Del Este) and illegal left turns out of the strip mall of Plaza Del Este.

Just south of the intersection going up into the residential area, they also check for illegal left turns out of the strip mall.

All along Haliburton Rd, usually near the Colima Rd and Hacienda Blvd intersections but can be anywhere in between.

Note downhill speed is posted at 40 mph, most people go 55 mph.

Cop cars usually lie in wait just north of the intersection at the corner behind a residential wall.

Cars coming down Dawn Haven often run fast or run the red light. Posted speed limit there is 25 mph on Dawn Haven.

Seen many CHPs waiting on the top of the hill near Atlantida drive and some at the bottom of either side of the hill both directions. Posted speed limit is 40 but its way too easy to pass that limit.
