I15 North past 395 Jct.

Hesperia, CaliforniaMar 16, 20100 Comments

CHP will sit on the North bound I15 behind the Joshua Street overpass.
This is the next overpass after 395 Jct. There is not an on or off ramp so the street isn’t marked. You won’t see them until it’s too late. Usually I see them on weekends and Holidays to catch the eagar gamblers on their way to Vegas. This strech of I15 is downhill from Cajon Pass to Victorville and is easy to reach 90 if you forget to get your foot off the gas at the top of the pass.

Main Street near Between 2nd & C Avenue

This is very true on the west side…although it’s not Valero, it’s 7-11 and although Jiffy Lube is there. The complex is better known as Sunrise Car Wash. Both motor units and cars watch this area. I’ve seen as many as three motorcycles and two cars there ticketing people. And on the East side is the Donut Shop. So just drive the speed limit you stupid a*ses. 50-60 mph is too fast comming up over that bridge! I do feel the speed limit should be increased from 35 to 40mph though and have more painted crosswalks between lights. It is legal to cross the street at the corners reguardless whether there are crosswalks or not! Good Job Officer’s! I want to see you out there more!

Local motorcyle Sheriff parks on south side of Main Street in Valero gas station lot at C and Main streets, also at entrance to Jiffy Lube (same side of street) and hits eastbound traffic with radar as it comes over the Santa Fe Railroad overpass.
