Huntington Beach, California Speed Traps

South bound Brookhurst St – Motor cops sit on side streets between Indianopolis and Atlanta barely visable until you get close to him. Posted speed limit is 45 but common speeds are between 55-65. Also northbound same situation.

North bound on Bolsa Chica, two motorcycle officers position themselves in a driveway clocking north bound vechicles. Bolsa Chica is posted at 45 mph but most drives esaily exceed that speed doing 55 or 60. Huntington Beach PD stations two motorcycle officers at this location regularly.

Several times now I see motor officers monitoring north bound Harbor Blvd from Taylor street all the way up to the 405 Fwy. I only see them in the dark and they use radar. Slow down all.

Motor cycle cop will sit between edwards and ellies and edwards and garfeild just pass the fire station as you start to go down hill. They will hide one the left hand side where the gated community entrance is.

Going north on Gothard just past Talbert a motorcycle officer is often hidden on the right in the driveways of the businesses there. I was ticketed there and have since many times seen an officer there. The traffic through this area is generally going 5-10 mph above the posted limit.
