Going west on 5oth, cycle cop sits just south of Monroe. New sign up saying don’t turn right on red light going north on Monroe. Many do and ker bam===got ya

I drive all over California, and this is the worst spot I know of. The CHP has 2 airborne units, and way too many cars, 2 of which are the Camaro Interceptors. Keep your eye open when you pass Palm Springs, and relax after you pass Desert Center.

Officer hides patrol car behind brush located in center median with car parked at 30 degree angle with front and rear radar to catch both East and Westbound traffic. Uses a constant K band but his parking angle hinders long range radar detector reading. Looks for 75+ MPH
