Interstate 10 near State Highway 111

I-10,INDIO, CA. 90M East of L.A. and 60M West of California State line: I drive all over California, and this is the worst spot I know of. The CHP has 2 airborne units, and way too many cars, 2 of which are the Camaro
Interceptors. Keep your eye open when you pass Palm Springs, and relax after you pass Desert Center.

Comments:
For those of you that aren't "locals"...I-10 from Haugen/Lehman Rd./ Hwy 111 to Desert Center is a CHP training area. They put the rookies in b/w's and turn 'em loose. There are also "turnaround" spots all along this route, so even if you pass a b/w going the opposite direction and their radar is turned on (which it ALWAYS is) they can go not more than a mile, flip around without leaving the freeway and come up on you with lights and sirens. Stay under 78mph and they'll leave you alone. Anything over that and you're going to get cited. Remember, you're not the only one on the road, anything stupid you're doing endangers everyone around you for a least a 1/2 mile! Keep it safe, wear your seatbelts!
