On january 28 2014, 9:00 AM, four LAPD vehicles parked on Rinaldi St at Haskell Ave. Officers using radar to get speed reading and hailing down vehicles over speed limit. Not a lot of traffic here but easy to up speed without realizing as it is 4 lanes, 2 on either side of double line plus room for street parking. Posted speed is 40 MPH.

The speed limit is 35, but there is only a single sign near Devonshire St. A cop not infrequently hides behind parked cars near Lassen St. during the morning rush hour. Even so, traffic is often light enough that motorists forget the speed limit and get pulled over.
