Orange, California Speed Traps
Batavia between Fletcher and Taft.
Motorcycle under the trees with a radar gun on the west side of Batavia…
Corner of Santiago Canyon/ Katella X Wanda Rd
Typically after 8-9pm, an Orange Police Officer hides in the shadows behind the Professional Building on the Northwest corner. There is a parking lot behind the building with no lites… a perfect place to sit in the shadows and observe the intersection. Also, the stretch of Santiago Canyon from the 55 fwy to the rock quarry is always a no fly zone for speeders… lots of small side streets where cruisers and motorcycle cops can lay in wait.
Be careful down this stretch of street.
East of Jamboree on Chapman/Santaigo
Some type of utility access road, fence blocks entry to property, however there is a short drive and an area to turn around. The area provides visability to trafic driving west without revealing the officer untill you are on top of him.
Tustin Ave & Bixby (just north of Lincoln)
Parking on Bixby next to Eisenhower park.
Police frequently wait with radar for cars cresting just over the hill.
On Santiago Blvd between RobinHood and Lincoln/Nohl Ranch
Officer hides in RealEstate office parking lot, next to Shell station and KC Liquor. Looking for those coming around the curve on Santiago.
