Palm Springs, California Speed Traps
Indian Canyon Drive near Ramon Road
Indian Canyon is a one way street, so after you pass Ramon on the left hand side, hidden in the back entrance of Staples parking lot. there is an Officer there in the morning on most days. the speed limit there is 30 mph! much too low in my opinion.
Interstate 10 West bound near State Highway 111
Officers wait on east bound at Verbania Ave ( old name, it is now maned after two officers )The east bound lanes are down hill and the speeds can realt pick up. I have seen as many as five cars waiting and three giving tickets. Airplane flies over head and they pick you off like flies
Palm Drive near Interstate 10
Open desert between I-10 and Vista Chino Dr. Motorcycle Cop sits by bill-boards with RADAR Gun waiting for next victim.
El Cielo Road near Mesquite Ave.
Motorcycle cop hides in bushes of Bel Air Greens parking lot with a radar gun.
Dinah Shore Drive on both sides of the Dinah Shore Bridge
Motor cycle officer with radar gun hides behind a wall on the bridge or at either end of the bridge as you are driving down off of it. The speed limit sign calls for reduction of speed to 45 miles and as low as 35 miles as you are entering Cathedral City.
