San Marino, California Speed Traps
Eastbound on Huntington Dr. between Atlantic and Virginia
Pedestrian traffic trap by plain clothes and uniform officers this morning. Plain clothes officers will put their foot on the road as cars pass by uniform officer will pull car over. Stops are happening at locations other than posted crosswalks and intersections. (i.e. in front of local businesses) Officers can be seen high-fiving each other with each written ticket. According to local merchants this is a monthly event.
Winston Ave., Just north of Huntington
Always a motorcycle cop that waits at the end of the hill to catch people speeding in the 25 mph limit zone. Also a school enforcement zone.
Huntington Drive Drive near El Molino Road
Huntington Drive is long and straight. There also happens to be a huge center-divider where cops can hide out at. There is a San Marino cop in a Dodge Charger hiding in the center divider in the mornings and afternoons. Since it’s so easy to reach 50 MPH in a 40 MPH zone, it’ll be too late to slow down by the time you see him.

Motorcycle always sitting in the parking lot of San Marino High School
Huntington Drive near Sierra Madre Boulevard
Around 8 AM a motorcycle cop can be spotted on Huntington Dr. right in between Starbucks and the UPS Store. It is fairly easy to spot him, just be careful and look to your right at all costs.
