Benton Street near Curtis Avenue
Heading east on Benton Street from Lawrence Expressway as you pass the park on the left, chances are you will see a motorcycle cop near a corner-house driveway on the right. They�ve been hanging out there during the lunch hour for the past 10+ years. Benton is a wide 4-lane road with a speed limit of 30 mph.
Winchester Boulevard near West Hedding Street
This speed trap is on a clear section of Winchester Blvd. in a "Senior Citizen Facility" zone posted at 25. Motorcycle units radar you as you’re passing a cemetery.
State Highway Hwy 101 near Coyote Creek Golf Course south to Morgan Hill
Southbound Hwy 101 from Coyote Creek Golf Course to Morgan Hill. Airplane clocking speeds, CHP entering freeway southbound at Cochrane Road to assign tickets. Enforcement is sporadic.
Great America Pkwy Expressway near US Highway 101
Motorcycle police would hang out on the overpass when Great America Pky becomes Bowers at 101. Cars will go towards the overpass at an angle, and will not see the cop, by the time you hit the overpass over 40mph it’s too late.
Montague Expressway near Lafayette Street
When you’re heading towards Rivermark on Montague Expressway, there is a bridge which goes over Lafayette Street. You can’t see over to the other side until it’s too late and then you see two motorcycle cops waiting (under the trees) with radar. So just don’t accelerate too quickly until after you can see over the bridge.
